So, you’ve got some questions…
What kinds of sessions do you offer?While my primary focus (yes, photography pun intended) is on women and girls, of all ages, I do offer a variety of session options. Seniors (teens of all ages), maternity, and boudoir are the sessions I do the most. However, I also have over 20 years of experience as a photographer and doula working with newborns and their families. Among other options are families of all shapes and sizes (couples, young children, teens, grandparents, adoption celebration, and more!), as well as professional headshots (but not the boring kind!)
How do I prepare for a session?It really depends on you and the type of session you are planning. For seniors, I suggest planning 2 to 4 outfits/looks, and pick a location that really screams “this is ME!” so that we can really capture your personality and spirit at this time. Families, children, couples…well, I always say to keep it simple. Have fun putting together outfits, but please, please do not stress. And never show up for a session hungry!
What is included in my investment?All of my non-boudoir sessions include a bit of everything, as I like to offer what I call ‘all inclusive’ sessions. With this, each session includes, at the minimum, your session fee and at least a small number of digital images and matching proof prints. From there, all sessions have the option for more digital images and prints, and the top option includes all digital images in both color and B/W along with beautiful custom prints!
Let's talk travel...Locally, all non-studio sessions are covered with no travel fee for up to 30 miles from Moreno Valley, CA. If you would like a session that is outside of 30 miles, please inquire about a travel quote.
I do also travel often to Washington State! I have enjoyed doing sessions in Hawaii, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Oregon. I love to travel, so let’s chat!
What to wear, what to wear...Seniors: 2 to 4 outfits, feel free to mix and match, and come ready to really show who YOU are. Bring your favorite must haves, such as a pet, instrument, whatever gear you use for band or a sport or art… You are also welcome to choose an item to wear from my client closet of dresses and flower crowns for an added fun look!
Headshots/Branding: Anything goes! I suggest that you have at least one version of what professional means to YOU, and one outfit that is purely your personality.
Maternity: For maternity sessions, most expecting parents like to use a combination of their own maternity clothing and the beautiful gowns that I have in my client closet. I also have a wide variety of flower crowns as well. If you wish to use one of my gowns, let me know in advance and we can select a few for your session!
Families: Coordinate, but I strongly suggest not fully matching. Pick a theme or color, and roll with it. Everyone in identical matching outfits does not often go over well with those not planning! I am more than happy to send ideas.
Engagement/Post Wedding Sessions: This is ALL up to you. Some folks like the idea of doing a session for just the couple in their wedding attire after the wedding, so if this is you, and we choose to go on an adventure, I strongly suggest changing into your clothes once we arrive. Engagement? Have some fun, show your unique personalities!
